Yes! I am so happy Kelly decided to talk publicly about this. Remember last week when I told you there was all this drama going down between Beyonce’s producer and Kelly? B’s producer pretty much thinks Kelly’s new song with Weezy called “Motivation” is a piece of crap. Scroll down a bit to read about that drama!

Now–onto the good stuff. Kelly has issued her response to the hater’s harsh words in an interview with BET stating, “You know what, the record speaks for itself.” Kelly continued to lay it on him, “Opinions are like —holes, everybody’s got one.”

“He’s made wonderful music with my sister and other artists. There’s no reason for me to say anything negative. ‘Cause I won’t tell you the thought that is really in my head. I’ll just kill ‘em with kindness,” Kelly concluded, refusing to beef with Bhasker. Way to take the high road, Kelly!

Well, sorta. He’s not a big fan of Kelly’s new song “Motivation”, which we LOVE here at 107.9 The End. Beyonce’s producer Jeff Bhasker had a few choice words for Kelly via Twitter! Jeff tweeted “How can this kr song with the weakest beat and melody of all time be the #1 song on urban!? Oh yeah. Wayne.”

Really dude? Nothing better to do than hate on Kelly for working hard. No doubt, Weezy is a vital part of the song and I love his part–but Kelly has worked really hard for this. Although Kelly has had some solo success, for example her song “Dilemma” with Nelly…she has never had a hit ALBUM–just singles. Jeff continued to tweet other garbage directed at Kelly saying “I just listened to Motivation again to see if I was to harsh in my critique. I wasn’t. The lyrics are horrid as well.”

Feel free to follow Jeff @JeffBhasker, let him know your thoughts on him dogging Kel! Check out Kelly’s “Motivation” video below. Love you Kelly! :) xoxo

So, Selena’s latest song “Love You Like a Love Song” features pink-painted ponies. Our girl P!nk saw the video being shot in California and wasn’t happy about it so she spoke out about it via Twitter. Now P!nk wasn’t pissed that Gomez was jacking her signature color with the video; she was concerned about the animals and their well-being, since, you know, pink ponies don’t occur in nature….usually? lol

P!nk tweeted the following post on Thursday of last week: “If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame.” After Gomez’s fans reportedly defended her and her actions, the pregnant P!nk posted a follow up tweet, which read: “Whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty.i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.”

Check out my Twitterview with Selena below. I caught up with her a few weeks ago at Dixon Mayfair! Love. Her.

For some reason John Legend’s Supermodel girlfriend Christine Teigen took to Twitter to diss Avril Lavigne. On Sunday night, she tweeted, “Watching an avril lavigne interview, The second most painful thing I have watched today after ‘the goods’.”

She then went on to tweet, “If u told me I could have 1 kid, but it would be exactly like avril, I would choose to have a barren, sterile existence that ends when I die.”

I have met Avril before…she is kinda blah. :(

Check out a more “Sunny” side of Avril, when she talked to Chelsea Handler here…

Why would someone ever think its ok to admit that in public? Avril Lavigne has revealed she is a fan of Ke$ha’s “fun” style. Indeed, Avril has said that she is even reminded of herself by the Tik Tok hitmaker. Speaking to Bang Showbiz, she said that she finds pop stars like Kesha and Katy Perry “cute”. “Their music’s fun. They’re cute. Kesha has some really funny lyrics that remind me of how light and playful my lyrics are in Girlfriend. It reminds me of me,” she commented.

You think Katy Perry and Ke$ha might get offended by Avril calling them “cute”? Kinda sounds like they are below Avril. Newsflash: Ke$ha and Katy are selling out arenas!

Have an awesome weekend! :) XoXo -OA

Twilight

Twilight (Rated PG-13)
Gavin Grade: D+

Ironic this movie is about vampires because it really sucked. The one saving grace about this movie based off of the best-selling Stephenie Meyer book series, is that it’s based off of the best-selling Stephenie Meyer book series. By that I mean the only thing this movie has going for it is the story. I must confess that I haven’t read the books, but I think I might want too. I want to see where this story goes, but I’m not sure I can sit through another movie. Everything about it felt like a high-budgeted Made for TV movie. The special effects were piss poor, the acting was stale and the directing was miserable. Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella in the movie, performs as if she has some sort of twitch. Robert Pattinson, who you may remember as Cedric Digory in the Harry Potter series, does a decent job despite having a crap script to work with and staying upright with such a massive head. I would say that if you’ve never read the book, avoid this movie and read it; but if you have read the book, still avoid this movie and read the book again.
