So, i have to be honest…when it comes to clothes, im a snob. I dont buy cheap clothes, because then i wind up having to buy more cheap clothes 3 months later because you wash it a few times and its already starting to rip. Now, before you think you need to shop for your dress amid piles of discounted sweat jackets and kids’ pajamas, take heart. There will be a very fashionable and classy “Bridal Section”.  Hey, even if you’re not looking for the “Wedding on a Budget”, Costco might actually know what they are doing here. Mayyyyyyyyyybe.

 Lady Gaga has outdone herself once again. The most followed person on Twitter has donned a raw meat bikini for Vogue Japan, complete with a tiny meat beret and blood-red nails and lips. PETA members must be THRILLED. The bizarre photoshoot was shot by famed photographer Terry Richardson and has caused a lot of controversy, as you can imagine.

“I respect designers who aren’t afraid to go outside the box,” she tells the magazine. “I went to a Jean Paul Gaultier show, and I saw girls who are thicker than me, beautiful and voluptuous and different ethnicities. That made me so excited. I thought, Okay, I can work that, for sure.”

Of course, the Barbadian beauty is leaving her mark on the couture world, as well. “It’s clear there are definitely fewer black women in the high-fashion industry. One of the things I respected most about Gucci was that they did a print campaign with me. I’m a black girl on a fashion spread for Gucci—that was a big deal.”

She is really brave for posing in the May issue of Marie Claire magazine…without make-up! There are a lot of women i know that would NEVER think of leaving the house without something on. Good for Jess though, rockin it as usual. I had the chance to meet her back when she was on tour with Rascal Flatts. Sweetheart.
