Indeed, Avril has said that she is even reminded of herself by the Tik Tok hitmaker. Speaking to Bang Showbiz, she said that she finds pop stars like Kesha and Katy Perry “cute”. “Their music’s fun. They’re cute. Kesha has some really funny lyrics that remind me of how light and playful my lyrics are in Girlfriend. It reminds me of me,” she commented.
