The New York Post is reporting that Sean “Diddy” Combs demanded three police escorts to accompany him to an event in New Jersey, this past weekend.  According to the paper, the NYPD is now getting some grief from New York City’s Mayor Bloomberg, due to the rappers escorting demands! 

 So, Diddy had a gig at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan and then received $75,000 for an appearance at a New Jersey club.  According to the Post, Diddy requested some support from the NYPD in order to avoid being late.

NYC’s Mayor Bloomberg has spoken out after the NYPD confirmed that they led Sean Combs to the NJ club appearance… and he is not pleased! Bloomberg instructed Internal Affairs to launch a probe into the event. As a result, officers were reportedly forced to sift through log records and work schedules.

The Mayor released a statement saying, “The bottom line is the Police Department should treat everybody exactly the same. If you don’t get a police escort, P. Diddy Shouldn’t.”

Agreed! Why should Diddy get to beat all the traffic in New York if the normal person cant? I mean…we’re not talking about the President here! P. Diddy needs to look at his schedule a little more closely next time.
